I am Miss Disabled Netherlands. By the doctor's mistake, I have been disabled for three years. I have a spinal cord injury and a left paralysed to my hip. Because I won the miss election in my own country, I am the Ambassador of the Lucille Werner Foundation. My mission is "fewer rules, more provision," and participation in employment for people with disabilities. I have my hairdressing salon where I can perform my work with special adjustments. I have been training in the rehabilitation centre for a long time to be able to do my daily things again. But by keeping hope and faith, I've come as far as I am now. I look for possibilities and not for impossibilities. I'm a cheerful woman who chases her dreams and pursues goals. Where there is a will, there is a way!
